In the past 24 hours immediately after the sudden death of Broncos wide receiver Kenny McKinley, his associates and teammates are struggling to find the reason behind his death. They simply can not understand why the person like him who was mostly seen with a smiling face would wish to take his life.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and coroner confirmed that McKinley died Monday afternoon by shooting himself on head.

This 23 years old player did not leave any note behind before committing suicide. Quite a few people who knew McKinley, that includes Broncos coach Josh McDaniels, said there were no outer signs of anything internal demon or personal struggles that can prove it was a murder.
McKinley’s quarterbacks coach at South Cobb High School said, “Everyone is really sad and shocked. He was making strides in the positive direction. Everyone was proud of him for where he was and what he was doing.”
