Leaders of Bell:California arrested
According to the reviews of ABC News, eight leaders from Bell, California were arrested through the Los Angeles prosecutors. They happen to be charged with unwarranted and extravagant salaries. The arrest incorporated official Robert Rizzo but surprisingly did not include the Chief. The Bell income scandal of Robert Rizzo was reported in July by LALATE. Steve Cooley, the Los Angeles area attorney did not find any wrongdoing through the Chief. However, according to the reviews the Chief was creating practically $500,000, almost 50 % more than Charlie Beck of LAPD and LA Sherriff Lee Baca.
The ex Bell city manager Robert Rizzo was arrested on Tuesday morning. Angela Spaccia, the previous assistant city manager was also taken into custody. Their extravagant salaries prompted the investigators to check on them.
The others arrested include, Oscar Hernandez, Mayor, Teresa Jacobo, the Vice mayor, George Mirabal and Luis Artiga, the two members belonging to the Council and previous Council members Victor Bello and George Cole.
Steve Cooley said that these leaders treated the tax dollars like their personal piggy banking institutions and took cash out of it will. The leaders happen to be accused of getting $5. 5 million.
