NFL player Found Dead - Kenny McKinley :Denver Broncos broad receiver Kenny McKinley has been discovered dead in his home, apparently from the self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities have said.
Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said authorities have been known as to McKinley’s household with a woman friend of the participant who discovered his body following returning from an errand with his child.
He did not say if investigators discovered a suicide note.
“It’s nevertheless component of our investigation and probably nothing we’ll speak about best suited now,” he said.
The Broncos have endured a sequence of tragedies in latest years.
Cornerback Darrent Williams was wiped out in a drive-by shooting on New Year’s evening 2007 and 3 months after backup running back again Damien Nash collapsed and died following a charity basketball game in St. Louis, Missouri.
“Everyone with the Broncos is shocked and saddened by the the loss of Kenny McKinley,” Pat Bowlen, proprietor of the NFL team, said in a statement. “He was component of the Broncos’ family and will probably be significantly missed by our organization. My most heartfelt condolences go out to Kenny’s family and friends.”
The Broncos said coach Josh McDaniels would meet with the media on Tuesday.
