Eddie Montgomery, (AP) — A publicist for Eddie Montgomery says the Montgomery Gentry star has prostate cancer.
An e-mailed statement from the Kentucky native says he will undergo surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in December.
Montgomery asks supporters to maintain him and his family members within their prayers. And he promises being “back in January and ready to rock for all of the fans!”
