Gq glee photos:A media watchdog group has issued a press discharge saying how the recent “Glee” photo shoot for GQ is overly sexualized.
“It is disturbing that GQ, that is explicitly written for grownup men, is sexualizing the actresses who perform high school-aged characters on ‘Glee’ in this way,” stated Tim Winter, President in the mother and father television Council. ”It borders on pedophilia. Sadly, this can be just the most recent example in the overt sexualization of young girls in entertainment.”
My Strollerderby colleague Madeline Holler lately leveled some similar criticism on the photo shoot.
“The “Glee” GQ pictures are raunchy, a specific thing you’d anticipate from TVs Sookie Stackhouse or, heck, a few of airbrushed real Houswives. Not, you know, two in the (supposed) high school girls (actually, they’re grown-up women) on the display watched by millions — including, perhaps, your own little girls!” writes Madeline.
Another Strollerderby colleague Sierra dark weighed in on the photos. Sierra wonders why the magazine chose to fetishize the skinny white girls.
