NJ Transit Delays Affecting New Jersey
A NJ Transit train derailed earlier today, and it has caused delays for New Jersey and ny Commuters all evening long. There have been several canceled trains, delays, and route changes. Luckily for that 300 people on board belonging to the train that derailed, there were no major injuries.
NY Metropolitan Transit is advising people who are looking to vacation about the long Island Railroad (LIRR) to anticipate delays as well, especially throughout the peak PM commute.
The newest delays for New Jersey Transit are 20-30 minutes for that North Jersey Coast line and Midtown direct service in both directions. They are telling people to anticipate substantial delays and crowding on NEC/NJCL trains from and to ny throughout this evening’s commute. many trains have been canceled, and updates carry on to come in.
