Re-union at Greene County by McLeod kins
For the family of Peter McLeod (abt. 1775-1850) and wife Sarah McCaskill Mcleod (abt. 1778-1860 ), September’s fourth Saturday has come to be the conventional time. The family celebrates their heritage. everybody associated to the family gather on the Vernal Presbyterian Church, off River road in Greene County.
On September 25, become a member of the McLeod kin. take a potluck lunch. The registration of the gathering starts at 10 a.m. and the lunch is at noon. It is implemented by a brief program.
The few was among the earlier settlers of the place. Their children had left thousands of descendants. The children were Daniel, Roderick “Rory,” Farquar, Norman, Allen, Peter Jr., Benjamin, Kenneth, Sweyne and Nancy McLeod Thomson, Peter and Sarah McLeod.
Still, many members of the family are still living today in Greene counties area, the George and the surrounding counties.
