Tony Greene died this afternoon at 4:30. post noon he was removed from the ventilator. Some people says he passed away then, but in fact he kept breathing for few hours after that. Greene’s brother-in-law Dean Hopper at 2:00 pm stated it absolutely was a “matter of time.” He also stated further that close friends and family joined in the hospital, which include Gerald Wolfe, Amy Lambert, and Dean and Kim Hopper and TaRanda Greene, during the final hours to “sing him into glory.”

Tony Greene was from Boone, North Carolina and he started singing in the year 1979 with brother Tim, sister Kim, and father Everette. Their first recording together was in 1980 and until ’80s they did not come to country wide prominence as a sibling trio. In 1989 Kim left and joined her husband, Dean Hopper. However, Amy Lambert changed her and later on by Milena Parks.

In 1998 the future spouse of Tony, TaRanda Greene, joined Greenes’ bus. For sometime the two dated and Tony proposed on the NQC Mainstage, about 10 many years ago.
