Tony Curtis Dead At 85
1950s Heartbreaker Tony Curtis has died.
He was 85.
He died at his Las Vegas area house of the cardiac arrest.
He made an look in movies like Sweet Smell of success and Some Like It Hot. He gained an Oscar nod for 1958′s The Defiant Ones.
His 1st wife was Psycho star Janet Leigh; actress Jamie Leigh Curtis is their child.
After retirement from movie and fighting drug and booze misuse, he switched to artwork (some of his painting sold for as a lot as $20,000) afterwards in his life.
“I’m not ready to settle down like an elderly Jewish gentleman, sitting on a bench and leaning on a cane,” he said at 60. “I’ve obtained a helluva lot of residing to do.”
