George Blanda died at 83
NFL renowned participant George Blanda passes away. He was the `oldest participant with the NFL to possess performed 4 decades. the other participant is Jeff Feagles who retired recently. He was 83.
Blanda was a quarterback and place-kicker. He had retired in 1976 in the age of 48 scoring more factors than anyone has done it.
On Monday, his passing away was announced by the Oakland Raiders. since 1967 he was with the Oakland Raiders. He was eleceted towards pro Football Hall of Fame in 1981 for playing 26 seasons.
He had performed in country wide Football League, American Football League and also the N.F.L. rubric, after the merging with the two leagues in 1970.
Blanda started his career in the 12 months 1949 with the Chicago and he will always be remembered for his 1970s unbelievable five-week stretch of heroics. He had also been known as ageless wonders by occasions magazine.
