Jerry Lewis Telethon 2010 is being held in Las Vegas. The aim of the telethon is to raise millions of dollars. Jerry Lewis has been doing this for more than forty years and the Telethon 2010 was kicked off today on Sunday night by Jerry Lewis himself. Though he is 84 years old, he has got much enthusiasm about the show. Being an aged man, he cannot host the show for the entire time as the telethon is expected to continue for 21 hours.
Lewis is expected to get help in hosting the show from his fellow colleagues and he is expected to raise $60 million from the entire event. The stars who are expected to join him to add glamour to the show include Romano, Lynyrd Synyrd, and the entire cast of Glee. American Idol will also be well represented, with David Archuleta and Nigel Lythgoe helping out. Stars will also donate huge amount to the cause.
