Shooting Near Krispy Kreme Doughnut Shop
Gunfire was heared Monday evening for the 200 block of Pittston Avenue as Scranton police officials were analyzing a weapons occurrence at the near by Krispy Kreme doughnut shop.
The 1st contact came in at 8:35 p.m., when a number of persons out with the doughnut shop on Moosic street supposedly attempted to induce somebody right into a combat, Lt. Joseph Arbie said. throughout the contest, a knife and handgun were waved.
3 mins later, Officer Joe Dombroski approached 2 cars along with a number of persons in entrance with the August J. Haas Funeral Home, 204 Pittston Ave. When he flipped his lights for the scene, 2 persons seemed to become holding onto a 3rd, Lt. Arbie said.
