Steve Burke:The Next CEO Of NBCU
On Sunday, Comcast Corp and basic electric Co stated that Comcast’s operations chief, Steve Burke would be the chief executive of NBC Universal after the close of proposed buy of a majority stake of Comcast in NBCU.
There was also an announcement on Friday that NBCU’s existing Chief Executive Jeff Zucker would step right down after the expected close of the deal in future. Analysts predicted that Burke could end up operating the company after the deal, he is overseeing preparations for integrating NBC Universal.
According to Comcast and GE they would not make any a lot more announcements until the close of the transaction, and it is still being reviewed by regulators.
