X3 prototype the probable competitor of Sikorsky X2
Back in 2008 Sikorsky X2 had created an unofficial record since the fastest helicopter; its maximum speed was 250 knots (460 km/hour). today in a bid to most excellent the American company, Eurocopter reveals the X3 prototype.
The blueprint is quite unique to conventional helicopters, as it comprise of two brief wings on each and every side. The Eurocopter X3 Prototype is a half-plane and half-helicopter, and it claims to obtain a speed of 220 knots. although this is not quicker compared to Sikorsky X2, however the speed of Sikorsky X2 was unofficial, so there is no such evidence that it flies quicker than X3 prototype.
