Great Geauga County Fair to be a success
Great Geauga County Fair has started with full force, the five days fiesta was long awaited by the people from Ohio. Geauga County Fair opened on September 2nd in the morning with 13,000 exhibits and 2,000 animals on exhibit. The extravaganza is spread over 151 acres of land at 14373 N. Cheshire Street in Burton.
The attraction of the fair is the frog jumping contest which all visitors love to watch. The record of the contest is 14-feet 8 inches so far.
According to the competition terms, if any frog breaks the world record of 32 feet, the frog’s owner will win $250. The second and third placed will get $20 and $10.
Another famous attraction of the Geauga County Fair is the chicken flying competition and the walk on water. The game of chicken flying starts at the fair at 2 p.m. Variety of musical pieces entice the participants and the entertainers on stage become much enthusiastic to allure the visitors.
The admission is free for kids of 12 years and under and 7 dollars for others.
