Fire reaches the Los Angeles County Palmdale, Wildfire Damage

Today the fire reached Palmdale Los Angeles County, destroying a huge area in its path. areas affected by forest fires damages include Palmdale, Annaverde, Leona Valley and Ritter Ranch.

It is reported that around 2000 people have been evacuated from the hills around Palmdale and North County of Los Angeles on Thursday night. The authorities are also advising people to keep the car at home and windows closed to prevent smoke inhalation. Meanwhile, efforts to extinguish the fire is continuing and the official information tells us that five thousand hectares have been devastated by fire-until now-uncontrollable.

It helps to control the fire coming from different sides, News10.net Sacramento today said it has sent 50 firefighters and 10 engines to assist with the fire Palmdale.

Fire Inspector Matt Levesque said that "the fire was active on all sides, fueled by dense and dry brown grass burn easily."
