Task Force 343 Revealed in Wikileaks Obtained Documents

After the escape of 90,000 classified documents about the war in Afghanistan, we have learned about the existence of a group called Task Force 343, a contingent of secret special forces operating under the radar and will report directly to the Pentagon. Their goal? Capture or kill Taliban leaders and Al Qaeda without trial.

343 The Task Force uses a list called "kill or capture" list, also known as Jpel (joint list of priority effects). The records reveal the special force is used to capture, but on other missions they were told simply to kill the target without making any attacks against the capture of them. The documents also reveal that killed civilians, men, women and children during his missions, even the Afghan police was free of them.

The Guardian reports:

"The war was leaked Task Force records show that 373 uses at least three bases in Afghanistan, Kabul, Kandahar and Khost. Despite working alongside special forces from Afghanistan and other nations in the coalition, which seems to be drawing of their own troops of the Seventh Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and to travel on missions Chinook and Cobra helicopters aviation flight 160th Special Operations Regiment, based at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.

The existence of the Task Force 343 has been rumored for some time. Already in 2008 the UN Special Rapporteur for Human Rights, Professor Philip Alston, went to Afghanistan to investigate the rumors, but found that international forces are not accountable or transparent.

Of course, this has caused many concerns about the right of the people, the legality of its objectives, and of course the fact that killing innocent people who were in the way of the mission.
